Our Products
Histogen's product portfolio consists of 2 unique products - ExceltrixTM and HGEN-001 - and 2 combination products. All of the products are derived from Histogen's core manufacturing system, with each product possessing the potential for a variety of research and therapeutic uses.

Histogen's product pipeline consists of near-term products with no or little regulatory hurdles, as well as mid-term and long-term products. Early-stage products, which have already passed the "proof of principle" stage, will allow the company to build a solid foundation as later products are in the research and development phases.

Short-Term Products

Histogen's initial products are research tools for stem cell growth and therapeutics regulated as 510k devices, which require little or no regulatory approval. Market introduction for these short term products is slated for Q1 of 2008.

Mid-Term Products

Histogen's mid-term products are based on regulatory classification as a PMA, and will require pilot and pivotal clinical trials. Market introduction is slated for 2013 and 2014.

Long-Term Products

Histogen's longer term products are regulated as biologics (NDA) and will require phase I, II, and III clinical trials. Market introduction is slated for the years 2015 through 2018.

During normal embryonic growth Wnt proteins are secreted, signaling molecules that regulate cell-to-cell interactions.

Wnts control how stem cells divide, regulate many of the decisions that cells make as they become a specific tissue, and are critical in the regeneration and renewal of adult tissues.
